BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Accounting Professional for an opportunity in Indianapolis, IN!

Position Title: Accounting Professional

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46225
Anticipated Start Date: 01/13/2025

Expected Duration: 12 Months

Pay Range: [$25.00] - [$27.21]

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

This position will be primarily remote BUT the candidate should be in the Indianapolis area to go onsite as needed for systems updates and any issues.

• Government Experience

Job Description:

Creates invoices and credit memos from business requests and interacts with requestors to ensure proper processing
* Ensures invoices are processed in customer portals to ensure on time payment of billings
* Acts as the key point of contact for billing inquiries/disputes
* Creates and documents process improvements regarding billing procedures
* Acts as a process back up for other Billing Specialist
* Assists the Manager and teammates with various projects as needed
* Generate monthly billing reports
* Customer Service Skills
* Able to work in a team environment as well as independently

Preferred
* Prior billing experience
* SAP experience preferred
* Functional Technical Skills
* Customer Focus
* Drive for Results
* Dealing with Ambiguity
* Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Software

Top 3 Priority Skills
- Government experience and billing government contracts.
- Seeking to find someone that is flexible and able to do the job requirements but also work as a liaison for root cause analysis,
- CSR experience.

3-5 yrs exp- mid career
