Buena Vista University is seeking applicants for an Accounts Receivable Manager in the Business Office. This position will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes by working with students and parents regarding their financial obligations. The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for sending billing statements, collecting timely payments, and ensuring compliance with university policies and federal regulations. This position will also monitor and manage recommended actions for outstanding accounts.
To be successful, this position requires the ability to work in a confidential environment, have strong attention to detail, provide excellent customer service, be a self-starter and successfully work within a team and across departments. Candidates should have previous experience or knowledge of accounts receivable and accounting software programs, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. A Bachelor's degree is required.
