RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Laurel, MD that is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager with a specialization in reconciliation and proficient in NetSuite to join our finance team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our accounts receivable operations, with a primary focus on managing the reconciliation process using NetSuite software.Responsibilities:- Review warranties purchased at point of sale; Format and submit to partnering vendor, while adhering to a deadline of the 15th of each month
- Partner with sales team to ensure accurate POS invoicing, adjustments and posting of payments (to include E-pay)
- Utilize NetSuite to manage receivables, including invoice processing, collections, and credit memos
- Ensure the processing of consumer finance (Wells Fargo) payment requests are done daily, and ensure sales team and customers receive necessary assistance with consumer finance issues
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collections and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Work closely with the finance and sales teams to streamline processes related to accounts receivable
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging to management
- Implement best practices for accounts receivable reconciliation and suggest process improvements
- Manage a team of accounts receivable specialists, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor general accounting email and distribute accordingly
- Complete cash drawer reconciliations; Assist with the research and resolution of account discrepancies (As back up to Accounts Receivable Specialist)
- Post cash, check and credit card payments as back up to AR specialist
- Protect company assets by maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager, with a focus on reconciliation
- Extensive knowledge and experience with NetSuite accounting software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks effectively
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
