Job Description:
The School of Management (SOM) at Binghamton University is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time Adjunct Instructor positions at the undergraduate and graduate level. Adjunct pools are open continuously and applicants are contacted/hired year-round for assignments based on school needs. Specifically, the SOM is seeking applicants with expertise in the following content areas: accounting, business law, data analytics, finance, operations and supply chain management, and management information systems. (Please note: these are non-tenure track faculty positions only.)
Adjunct Instructors teach core and elective courses in the BS Business Administration, BS Accounting, MBA and MS Accounting programs. Applicants will have the option of teaching one or more courses (3 or 4 credit hours depending on the course). Adjunct Instructors must be available to teach in-person during the fall and spring semesters. There is the possibility of teaching online coursework during summer and winter sessions. Faculty teaching schedules are based on school needs; however, efforts are made to accommodate the professional obligations of adjunct faculty who are also employed outside the University.
Adjunct Instructors report to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate and Master's Programs. We encourage applications from candidates committed to the instruction and support of a diverse student population.
Salary and benefits are aligned with SUNY UUP member negotiated benefits. Application review will begin as soon as possible and remain open until the positions are filled. Visa sponsorship is not available for these positions.
