Are you interested in joining our In-House Marketing Communications agency to help us lead our operations so that we can deliver innovative and compelling marketing campaigns for LEGO Retail!

This is a Temporary Maternity Cover (6-8 months)

Core responsibilities:

Budget Management

  • Regular check-ins with Finance and key partners on budget tracking, changes in programs and budget implications.
  • Ongoing budget management for monthly reconciliation and re-prioritization based on business needs.
  • Support project management with purchase order submissions.
Resource Management
  • Track incoming briefs and work with Senior Managers to make decisions on project assignments and project priorities based on team capacity and budget.
  • Support Service Level Agreement (SLA) resourcing on regular basis with agency leadership team.
  • Mitigation Planning and calling out capacity or delivery issues.
Operational Management: Tools, Process, and Vendor Management
  • Manage Workfront, agency-wide tool to track schedules, projects and dashboards.

The Global Shopper Marketing Communications team brings the global shopper strategy to life in over 1000+ stores and on LEGO.com globally. The role is central to the effective budget prioritization, resource management to deliver on strategically prioritized marketing campaigns for Branded Channels. The Operations Manager is critical to optimize budgets and our resources and ensures smooth and efficient workflow with IT and vendor management.

Do you have what it takes:
  • Relevant work experience in an agency environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in a budgeting, project management or operational role; preferably in an agency environment or marketing organization.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop estimates and projections.
  • Proven track record leading large, global budgets.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, detail oriented, and the ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate optimally across teams and to mid- to senior- level management.
  • High work standards of performance and results oriented.
  • Works well independently and in a team environment.
  • Agency Experience- highly preferred!
Additional details on this position
  • The salary for this position has a range of $97,000- $120,000 USD based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
