Analyst, Accounts Payable Analysis
Summary: We are seeking an Analyst to join our Accounts Payable Analysis team and perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries, conduct account analysis, and run period close exception reports.
- Prepare periodic account reconciliations for assigned accounts.
- Assist the Accounting Manager in periodic AP accounts analytics.
- Support periodic, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the AP, Finance, IT, and Procurement teams.
- Provide supporting documentation for quarterly reviews and year-end audits with internal and external auditors.
- Assist the Accounting Manager in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes and enhance financial controls.
- Participate in ad hoc projects as necessary.
- Strong analytical, organizational, conflict-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Oracle Cloud preferred.
- Team player who also works well independently.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong work commitment and ability to work under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- 3+ years of related experience and/or training.
