BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Application Programmer for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC/Plano, TX/Atlanta, GA!

Job Type: [CONTRACT (>=30 HRS WEEKLY), [HYBRID]

Pay Range: [$60] - [$65]

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Requirements:

• Tech lead responsibilities with hands on development, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment.
• Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs/activities.
• Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria is met for application changes.
• In-depth knowledge of development tools and languages is a must. Individual contributor role. Ability to partner with the multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to strategic platform.
• Attention to detail is key and should mentor new team members. The candidate is expected to take responsibility in owning and managing the end-to-end technical delivery of all the projects.
• 10 - 12 years' experience with Java with Strong core java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC and knowledge of Java profiling tools
• 5+ years of experience with the latest Angular version
• Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations.
• Knowledge of performance tuning data intensive applications
• Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills
• Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech-based solutions
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Software development using agile methodology and processes Desired Skills:
• Background in enterprise stress testing
• Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
• Prior experience in supporting lines of businesses
• Prior development or infrastructure support experience
• Understanding of Agile Kanban and Scrum
• Agile / JIRA
• Degree from university
