Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:The College of Science, Engineering & Technology at Texas Southern University is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Transportation Management and Planning, who is competent in instructing students with an active research agenda. The ideal candidate will possess a terminal degree (Ph.D.) with an emphasis on Transportation Management and/or Planning or Transportation Engineering from a regionally accredited university, with a supplemental field in Freight Logistic or Maritime Transportation. This is a 9-month tenure track position with teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Hiring Range:$82,373.44 - $107,085.00
Education:Ph. D. in Transportation Management and/or Planning or Transportation Engineering from a regionally accredited university.
Required Licensing/Certification:N/A
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge in one or more of:
Active research agenda as evidenced by at least one refereed journal publication at the time of hire preferred.Receive Ph.D. degree within seven years as of January 2025, and can show competency in research and grant writing preferred.
