Description

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Assistant Vice President in the Addiction & Recovery Services division at Behavioral Health Network! This is a fully in-person position covering the scope of BHN services across Massachusetts.

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Addiction & Recovery Services division with the following:

  • Supporting organizational policies, mission, and values of the company.
  • Designing and executing strategies for substance use disorder treatment based on best practices and evidence-based clinical methodologies.
  • Ensuring that SUD models of care & facilities are in alignment with company standards, as well as all current state & federal regulatory & accreditation requirements.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of treatment program outcomes and compliance and strategically adjusting based on data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Implementing and monitoring quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of care and safety of the individuals served.
  • Assisting with corrective action plan development, monitoring, and implementation of new or revised practices to improve compliance and patient outcomes.
  • Leading and motivating a team of professionals who are assigned to SUD programs.
  • Communicating priorities and providing updates to the BHN Leadership Team, as appropriate.
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations, including staff performance and program effectiveness.
  • Providing leadership for agency interdepartmental collaboration to address potential barriers impacting compliance and quality of care.
  • Identifying, assessing, and prioritizing facilities in the areas of risk, licensing preparedness, and clinical programming.
  • Completing routine reports with the Senior Vice President (SVP) of SUD.
  • Staying informed on changes in policies and regulations as well as on latest research, trends, and advancements related to substance use disorder treatment.
  • Promoting and supporting research initiatives and the adoption of innovative practices within the SUD facilities.

What are we looking for in the Assistant Vice President?
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or other relevant field (required).
  • LMHC, LADC, LICSW, or LCSW licensure (required).
  • At least 5 years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in behavioral health (required).
  • At least 5 years of experience managing substance use disorder treatment facilities or similar roles, including experience in leadership, program development, quality and compliance (required).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for all working hours (required). Ability to drive vehicle to various locations in assigned geographic area (required).
  • Experience with accreditation, regulatory audits, and risk management (required).
  • Demonstrated ability in interpreting quality metrics to orchestrate actionable change.
  • Ability to structure and organize job responsibilities independently.
  • Ability to conduct multi-level supervision.
  • Exceptional computer skills, and adept at using programs for producing PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Understands SUD & population health trends & interventions.
  • Understands concepts of Social Justice, especially in relation to management and quality care and engages in ongoing learning and development in this area.
