Job Details:
SUMMARY:
This position is an hourly clerical position that is responsible for the payments for live cattle. Duties include calculating data to be entered for lots, auditing lots, learning the different payment methods for generating checks to pay for cattle, and auditing checks. They will learn to balance the Harvest for each shift and all other duties of the scalehouse. This position is required to walk to the yards to gather paperwork several times a day.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma
Experience: 1+ year of office experience required, Accounting experience preferred
Computer Skills: Team member must have a working knowledge of personal computers and proficiency on Excel worksheets. 10-key knowledge by touch required.
Special Skills: Emphasis is placed on accuracy in calculating, writing, and checking checks to pay for cattle. Successful applicant will have core skills and willingness to learn. Problem solving skills and analytical skills required.
Communication Skills: Team member must be able to communicate well with others, be detail oriented, and have a high degree of accuracy in completing tasks.
Job Schedule
Regular hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Saturdays as required.
Schedule needs to be flexible in order to meet deadlines and accommodate plant schedules.
There is no relocation package with this position.
