Job DescriptionThe full-time Athletic Trainer/Field Manager position is a new and exciting opportunity to develop and implement an athletic training and facility management program for Centralia College. The Athletic Trainer/Field Manager will be an integral member of the athletics department, working collaboratively with coaches and athletics administrative staff to ensure the physical health and well-being of our athletes, as well as coordinate/facilitate field operations and maintenance. The Athletic Trainer/Field Manager will help design and maintain an effective treatment space and will use evidence-based and industry-standard best practices in the prevention, management, and rehabilitation of injuries, and provide overall management of the College's new multisport complex.

This position supervises student workers in game management and facility maintenance activities.

Individual must be proficient in the use of computers, the internet, and be comfortable learning and adopting new technologies. Prior knowledge/experience with a majority of the above technologies preferred; ability to quickly learn and proficiently use the listed technologies may substitute for prior knowledge/experience.
Conditions of EmploymentThis is a twelve (12) month per year, full-time professional technical overtime eligible exempt position. The salary is $50,000 - 60,000 (DOQ/DOE) annually depending on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The state of Washington provides a comprehensive benefits package for state employees. The position may participate in the TIAA/CREF retirement system.
