Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Azure System Architect to join a fully remote IT team in a startup environment. The role requires a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud solutions. This individual will work closely with the enterprise architecture team to design solutions for a SaaS platform in the event ticketing industry. The person will often be responsible for executing their system designs or providing leadership to other engineers to deliver solutions. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively while also contributing significantly to individual goals. They should also understand long-term vision and balance it with short-term goals that suit a startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud solutions for SaaS
• Conduct research and analysis of technology solutions
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Implement and integrate IT systems
• Create strategies for monitoring and optimizing cloud solutions
• Use Agile methodologies to communicate and deliver (Jira)
• Technical Skill Requirements:

• Messaging and container hosting
• Scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
• Infrastructure monitoring/visualization tools (Grafana)
• IaC tooling (Terraform)
• Single sign-on (Azure B2C)
• Source repository (GitHub)
• CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Microsoft and Linux operating systems
• DevOps engineering practices
• Cloud networking
