Title: BlueCard Escalation Coordinator I

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.

The BlueCard Escalation Coordinator I will be responsible for the continuing development and ongoing changes of the Interplan escalation program within the business unit. The BlueCard Escalation Coordinator typically supports business strategies through an integrated approach between other Bluecard areas; (governance, program administration, etc.) and all operations areas, (claims, G&A, finance, etc.).

How you will make an impact:

  • Coordinates the escalation inventory and facilitates response to ensure compliance with Blue Cross Blue Shield Association mandates and policy.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in response to day to day business issues; researches applicable subject matter practices and manages relationships with other Blue Plans, corporate and regional business areas.

Minimum Requirements
  • Requires a HS diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of customer service or claims processing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 ITS processing experience, correspondence and adjustments; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences
  • Extensive knowledge of multiple claims systems Blue2, BPM, SharePoint and ITFI strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $23.93/hr. to $35.90/hr.
