Job Description
General Summary
The Building Automation Technician (BAT) is responsible for monitoring various critical hospital systems, initiating emergency codes (Blue, BERT, OB STAT, RRT, etc), taking telephone calls from staff, physicians, visitors, and patients, and dispatching calls for service to various departments. The BAT ensures 24-hour coverage of the department and communicates regularly with hospital leadership, staff, visitors, and patients.
