Job Description

Flexion Inc. a Madison, WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a Business Analyst to work on a consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison, WI. - THIS ROLE IS HYBRID- CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO WISCONSIN

Business Analyst

This position will be responsible for facilitating analysis of various human resource (HR) processes for a State Agency. The work will involve reviewing documentation, developing questions, scheduling meetings, facilitating discussions, creating process maps, soliciting feedback, summarizing findings, and developing recommendations for process improvements. The goal of this work is to better understand current processes, how they differ across agencies, and where standardization might be possible. This position will work closely with HR professionals who are subject matter experts on HR processes and will collaborate with HR leadership to produce deliverables and recommendations.


Top Skills & Years of Experience:
• Two years' experience facilitating process mapping efforts in a service environment.
• Two years' experience managing projects and meeting deadlines.
• Two years' experience producing written documentation and recommendations.
• General understanding of HR processes.
• Experience with validating data found in reports and queries.

Nice to Have:
• Two years' experience analyzing or implementing information technology solutions.
• Three years' experience working in an HR setting or directly supporting HR project management or strategic planning.
• Three years' experience working in a government setting.

The compensation for this role ranges from $35,000- $40,000 annually.
