Volt is immediately hiring for Buyers in Santa Maria, CA.

As a Buyer you will:

• Acquire goods and services at a competitive price.
• Send quotations for bid on-contracted items and negotiate best price.
• Identify any problem areas and report to Senior Manager.
• Work alongside the Planning and Production departments to ensure changes in production requirements are passed to suppliers.
• Update suppliers with engineering changes
• Other tasks as assigned

This is a full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and ethics code.

Pay Rate: $25.00-$35.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
