Basic Job Functions:
- Provideleadershipandmentoringtothecivilandstructuralengineeringservicespersonnelin consultationwiththeManagerandAssistantManagersoftheEngineeringDepartment. Servesastechnicalexpertinsubjectareaofstructuralengineeringpracticestoprojectteams developingproposalsandrecommendationsforconsiderationbyCSImanagement. Advisesmanagementstaffonengineeringprojectsandtechnicalfactorsrestrictingorlimiting operatingdepartmentalproposals.
- Managesprojectsincludingplanning,construction,operations,andmaintenanceactivitiesatsite.
- Performsengineeringstudiesofbuildingandequipmentlayouts,todetermineoptimum arrangements,basedonanalysisofoperatingandcapitalcosts,processingyieldsandlosses,in process time,andmanpowercosts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BachelorsofScienceinCivilEngineeringorArchitecturalEngineeringwithafocusinStructural Design.
- 2-3yearsofexperiencesofstructuraldesignexperience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master'sdegreeinCivil/StructuralEngineering
- LicensedasaCivilProfessionalEngineerintheStateofCalifornia.
