The Clinical Assistant Professor ofPsychiatry position will be in the Department of Psychiatry and BehavioralSciences. This position is actively involved in providing clinical services inthe OSU System. Additionally, teaching of medical students and residents.Appropriate effort and activity in clinical research and service will also benecessary as well as a clinical record of sufficient depth to qualify forfaculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. The position will work with existingPsychiatry and Behavioral Sciences faculty.
100%Inpatient Clinical Practice: Performpsychiatric evaluations, consultations, and treatment. Other duties as assignedby the Department Chair.

PhysicalRequirements:
Ability to lift, carry push, and pull 20pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, andperform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations. -D.O. or M.D. degree; Doctor of Osteopathy or Medical Doctor; Psychiatry or related field
-Eligibility for licensure in the State of Oklahoma
-Board certification by the AOA or ABMS, or, board eligibility
-Valid Driver's License
Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge:
-Knowledge of all areas related to the clinical practice of psychiatry.
-Requires strong analytical skills, advanced multi-tasking skills, advanced problem solving skills, practice management experience, and the ability to effectively plan.
-Computer skills are needed to operate electronic medical records.
-Good communication and leadership skills are a positive.
-Interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with faculty, students, clients and providers.
