Horizontal Talent seeks a Cloud Data Platform Admin to create infrastructure-as-code pipelines and automation within a leading cloud platform and predefined database architecture. This full-time hybrid role is based in Bloomington and offers an excellent salary and benefits. Remote work is possible, but local/regional candidates are preferred for occasional on-site needs.

In your first few weeks in this Cloud Data Platform Admin role, you can expect to:

• Design and implement infrastructure as code pipelines and automation for data platform environments
• Collaborate with application developers and data engineers to identify needs and set up data pipelines
• Assist data engineers in automating data development, analysis, performance tuning, and modelling tasks
• Implement solutions to optimise system stability, resilience, and security
• Troubleshoot issues, analyze for future enhancements and proactively maintain efficient systems

To apply for this Cloud Data Platform Admin role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Hands-on experience with DevOps and cloud technologies
• 2+ years' experience deploying services and infrastructure in a public cloud environment (e.g
• Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible
