Communication Studies Part-Time Temporary Faculty PositionSpring 2025

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 8,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The university is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The university is very interested in hiring employees who have had extensive experience with diverse populations.

The Department of Communication Studies at Kutztown University invites applications for a part-time faculty position for a one-semester appointment for Spring 2025. The position includes teaching a basic public speaking course. The appointment begins in January 2025 and ends in May 2025.

M.A. in Communication Studies or related field required; Ph.D. preferred. Also required: A minimum of one (1) year of college-level teaching experience completed by August 2024, with specific evidence of ability to teach public speaking; successful completion of interview; and demonstration of teaching effectiveness. Salary is competitive, with rank to be determined.
