Description: Our client is currently seeking a Community Health Worker to join their team!
Scope of Role:
Location: Remote
Hours: M-F 8am to 4:30pm
Job Engagement: Contract
Ideal candidate has some community health work background or experience in related field such as, case management, coordinator, or medical assistant.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Completing Welcome Calls for members who are new to the plan
- Document all telephonic encounters/ attempts in medical records system
- Provide benefits information to new members and answering benefits related questions
- Confirm member demographic information and request updates
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a medical assistant, care coordinator or case management.
