Compensation: $20.98/hour

Responsible for supervision of consumers to ensure their safety and well-being as well as responsible for supervision of Community Living Instructors.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is weekly, including required rotating on-call and possible shift coverage as needed.

Responsibilities include:

* Maintain adequate staffing utilizing available scheduling program (i.e. When 2 Work or Teams)
* Oversee day to day operations of the unit/location and is available 24/7 and emergency fill-in (PRN) to assure compliance with regulatory bodies and contractual obligations.
* Assure staff compliance with policies and procedures and follow disciplinary process if/when needed
* Completion of 6 month and annual AIM documentation
* Provide group education- if applicable
* Reviews all CLI documentation for accuracy and tracking/billing- if applicable
* Performs all the essential function of a Community Living Instructor as defined in the CLI job description
* Transport consumers as necessary
* Log new medications and store appropriately on unit (ISL/PISL/IRTS)
* Observe self-administration of medicine on unit (ISL/PISL/IRTS)
* Maintain medications and medication supplies in the absence of the Director of Nursing - if applicable
* Assist with orientation of new consumers
* Complete paper and electronic documentation within required time frames
* Attend staff meetings and technician trainings
* Conduct disaster drill as scheduled (per regulation and policy) and document as appropriate
* Supervise consumers
* Collect and process UA's- if applicable
* Inspect and maintain premises for cleanliness and safety
* Ensure safety of consumers by appropriately responding to crisis situations as they occur
* Conduct residential orientation with new consumers and provides overview of consumer handbook and facility protocols
* Performs supervision of Community Living Site Coordinator & Community Living Instructor responsibilities on an ongoing, full-time basis including:
o Completes Community Living Instructor work schedule and reviews time sheets
o Develops and oversees training and development of Community Living Instructors
o Ensures Community Living Instructors perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
o Posts open positions and works with Corporate Recruiter to fill all available openings
o Interviews potential Community Living Instructors and makes recommendations for hire
o Facilitates monthly CLI team meetings to disseminate information and conduct in-service trainings
o Assists director to conduct annual reviews of Community Living Instructor staff
* Serves as liaison between clinical staff and Community Living Instructor staff to facilitate communication and coordination of treatment efforts
* Inventory and order office and facility supplies- if applicable
* Make decisions regarding the functioning for the site in the administrator's absence
* Serve as a point person for client schedules - if applicable
* Maintain a calendar of appointments and meetings up to date for Community Living Instructors- if applicable
* Review daily communication log/manager notes at beginning of shift
* File forms in client's charts and assist in keeping client records up to date in the absence of the office assistant - if applicable
* Attend staff meetings and maintain open dialogue with technicians
* Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

* Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees
* Completes performance development/AIM process
* Time card management - manages time sheets

WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK

* Regular exposure to biohazard and chemical waste materials
* Operating vehicles or machinery
* Regular exposure to blood and/or body fluids

High School/GED required

* At least two (2) years relevant work experience
* A valid unrestricted driver's license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver's license by the end of 60-day introductory period required

QUALIFICATION(S): LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Level I Medication Aide Certification required
