Duties and Responsibilities
Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement process by preparing purchase orders, tracking order status, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Vendor Management: Assist in resolving any issues related to product quality or delivery.
Inventory Support: Assist with data entry to support inventory team.
Data Entry and Record Keeping: Enter purchase orders, receipts, and other relevant documents into the purchasing database, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Market Research: Conduct research on potential suppliers and products, comparing pricing, quality, and service levels to support purchasing decisions.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Compliance: Ensure that all purchasing activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the purchasing team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing documentation.
Customer Service: Respond to internal inquiries related to purchasing, providing timely and accurate information to support various stakeholders.
Experience for Temporary Purchasing Coordinator

Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Purchasing Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience roles, preferably in a healthcare.

Systems/Applications:
- Proficient in Microsoft suites
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, such as WorkDay or similar systems (nice to have, but not required).

Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Attention to Detail:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
