Primary Responsibilities

  • Utilizing various recruitment channels to identify and engage potential candidates with marine and heavy civil craft experience, including online job boards, trade publications, technical schools, and industry events.
  • Reviewing resumes and conducting initial screenings to evaluate candidates' technical skills, certifications, and experience in marine and heavy civil construction.
  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth recruitment process.
  • Preparing job offers for selected candidates then communicating with Office Manager to initiate onboarding.
  • Maintaining accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Providing regular updates and reports to management on recruitment efforts.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with trade organizations and other industry partners to expand our talent network.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role, preferably in construction.
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools and techniques, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Passion for talent acquisition and driving positive candidate experiences.
