We are looking for a highly skilled Customer Account Specialist with a strong track record of building and maintaining customer relationships. In this role, you will leverage your experience and judgment to effectively serve our customers and collaborate across departments, including Sales, Inventory, and Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process customer orders, quotes, and sample requests with precision.
  • Provide prompt and courteous responses to customer service calls and inquiries.
  • Monitor and communicate the status of backorders to customers.
  • Oversee and update special pricing within the system.
  • Handle the entry of new customer data and ensure accuracy in our database.
  • Coordinate and track all repair and rental orders.
  • Expedite orders as needed to meet customer demands.
  • Fulfill customer requests for MSDS, literature, and other materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Uphold professional business practices and contribute to a positive company image.
  • Ensure all duties align with AS/ISO procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Perform additional customer service-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a high-volume call and email environment; experience in distribution or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, and CRM systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills with the ability to ask insightful questions.
