We are sourcing for an Administrative Clerk to support a Distribution Center in South Windsor, CT. The role will be a long term temp, possible Temp-to-Hire, based on performance. M-F; 8-5; $18-22/hr

Responsible for all administrative taskss supporting local leadership and all employees. Monitoring services, processing payment for services , generating reports and following the process for purchasing agreements with service providers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update daily, productivity man-hour sheets, once reviewed by management, into the system - Data Entry
  • Obtain service quotes and set up vendors services, as directed by management - Research, Phones, Data Entry
  • Maintain data for employees, agency records and required supplies.
  • Monitor claims to ensure no claim reaches beyond 30 days. Coordinate with DC personnel to ensure claims are inspected for cause and verified. Acts as a Customer Service Representative by responding to inquiries for information relative to Claim status - Customer Service and Research
  • Supports the on boarding effort of new employees by setting up access badges and system access. - Administrative
Key Performance Indicators
  • Manage claims to ensure they are resolved within 30 days of submission.
  • Monitor spend for general operations to ensure compliance vs budget.
  • Back up to the Operations Specialist - respond to routine requests for information regarding availability, ETA, errors, delivery issues and order processing status.
  • Negotiate purchase agreements for the PDC.
  • Performs routine data entry functions as required or outlined above in accountability section.
  • Maintain office supplies and materials.
  • Inputs and electronically files invoices from vendors.
  • Performs other duties or project assignments, as required, at the direction of management.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma is required.
Experience Requirements
  • 2-4 years of Administrative Clerical experience is required.
Skills
  • The position requires some level of analytical thinking as invoices processing and financial budgeting is part of the role.
  • Proficient computer skills: e-mail, record keeping, routine database, word processing, spreadsheets. (Outlook, Word, Excel)
