Description:

The Epic Certified Systems Admin (ECSA) is responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrades, support, monitoring, and maintenance of the Epic Client Systems infrastructure on virtual Windows servers.

Requirements:

• Five (5) or more years of experience in system operations, network or server administration, or technical support in a Windows Enterprise environment.
• Epic Certification in one or more ECSA/ECSM. Must have and be willing to obtain other Epic ECSA certifications.
• Minimum certification: Epic Client Systems Administrator for Hyperspace Web and Interconnect.
• Citrix Certifications (must be willing to obtain).

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and manage MyChart, MyChart Mobile, EpicCare Link, Care Everywhere, Hyperspace Web, Interconnect, Kuiper, System Pulse, and Hyperspace/Hyperdrive applications from an administrator level.
• Handle daily operations of the Epic Client Systems components.
• Assist with managing Citrix and VMware environments as needed.
• Lead product release management functions, including developing and performing test plans, facilitating end-user testing, and developing application validation scripts for the ongoing operations team.
• VMWare experience.

Preferred Knowledge:

• Clinical and Business Applications, e.g., Epic, Hyland OnBase, PACS, Rhapsody, Citrix, ServiceNow, Imprivata, etc.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Hyperspace, Hyperdrive, BLOB, BCA (Business Continuity Access), Printing, Hyperspace Web, Kuiper Interconnect, System Pulse, and Care Everywhere.
• Experience with Citrix/Epic Client, Windows Administration, and/or Citrix NetScaler.
• Preferred experience with NetScaler SDX/VPX, NetScaler Gateway, Virtual Apps and Desktops, StoreFront, and Workspace Environment Management.
• Imprivata Confirm ID and Onsign.
