Metallus Internship Program

Internship Assignment: Full Time - Summer 2025

Assigned a mentor from within our existing electrical engineering staff to provide oversight for his/her activities

Assigned several projects to lead or assist others toward completion:
- Design drawing revisions
- Conceptual design/scoping of work
- Small electrical design projects
- Creating bid documents
- Preparing bid reviews/comparisons
- Field work including equipment inspections, data gathering, and oversight for equipment installation

Internship Qualifications

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
• Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2025 semester
• Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university
• Preferred majors: Electrical Engineering
• AutoCAD experience
• Microsoft Office experience
