Electrical Technician

Eglin AFB, FL

Contract Position

This role is supporting the space systems division of one of our longest partners in our 28 years of staffing in Aerospace and Defense. This program builds satellites and spacecraft that do amazing things in space for government and commercial customers. You will be working with a team whose satellites give earlier warning of severe weather, connect troops on the battlefield, and deliver GPS directions to a billion people worldwide. Responsibilities:

• Summary: Perform duties in electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical areas, including troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining various systems and equipment.
• Construct, calibrate, and diagnose equipment using schematics, engineering drawings, and verbal/written instructions.
• Operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data as required.
• Perform calibration, alignment, and adjustments; make modifications and replacements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 4-6 years of electrical troubleshooting, testing, and adherence to electrical standards.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and understanding basic mechanical/electrical concepts.
