SUMMARY: This position may be responsible for planning and supervising the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directing, coordinating and supporting maintenance and refrigeration personnel.
• Administering PSM program, working with contractors, vendors or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment.
• Troubleshooting and resolving new and or different technical problems regarding equipment.
• Maintaining relevant records and ensuring OSHA standards and programs are implemented instructing in the use of personal protective equipment and implementing new ways of improving ergonomics within the facility.
• Coordinating Team Member schedules and handling clocking reports and attendance records holding monthly safety meetings and performing other responsibilities as assigned on all 3 shifts of refrigeration maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Education beyond high school including special training vocational school and or college courses or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: 3 plus years experience of industrial refrigeration required. Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
• Special Skills: CIRO certification preferred.
• Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.
