Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:The Joan M. Lafleur College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Health Administration Program (HA), at Texas Southern University is seeking enthusiastic student-centered qualified and experienced individuals to teach as Adjunct Faculty. Under the direction of the department chair and the HA program director, the Adjunct Faculty will be responsible for developing course materials, enthusiastically lecturing, grading assignments and examinations in a timely manner, providing support to students in the classroom setting, and being expeditiously responsive to student communications. There is no research or service expectation in this position; however, adjunct faculty are invited to participate in all related Program and College activities, especially those pertaining to student engagement. This is a part-time position.

Education:Master's degree in health administration or related discipline (e.g. public health, MBA) with health care administration experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Adjunct instructors must:
At least 3-5 years of current relevant health administration experienceProficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordOnline teaching experience or the ability to grasp and effectively use the technology
