The Senior Program Manager will drive our most cutting-edge and complex programs for Best Buy Health's top strategic customers in healthcare. The ideal candidate possesses innate problem-solving abilities and is an outstanding communicator. They exhibit a results-driven approach and thrive on fostering robust relationships within complex healthcare settings. The Senior Program Manager plays a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery through delivering remote patient monitoring solutions in a diverse, collaborative and innovative work environment.
This position will be remote first, with an opportunity to report in-person if located in the Boston metro area; possibility for travel for in-person meetings, events and training. Travel up to 25% for in-person meetings, events and/or training.
What you'll do
• Manage and lead complex, transformational programs and projects varying in size from large to small within the healthcare technology sector, including medical device and SaaS platform implementations.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Provide guidance and expertise to the program management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement best practices, processes, and methodologies to optimize project delivery and drive operational excellence within the PMO.
• Partner with senior leaders to define project priorities as identified in contracts and agreements, allocate resources, and drive alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Monitor project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
Basic qualifications
• 7 years project and program management experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the healthcare sector
• 7 years of general business experience
• 2 years leading a team directly or indirectly
• Extensive experience leading complex projects and programs successfully; preferably within the healthcare or medical device industry.
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of guiding high-performing teams through transition and change
Preferred qualifications
• 7+ years project and program management experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the healthcare sector
• 5+ years' experience with project management software like Smartsheet, Workfront, Wrike, Jira etc.
• 5+ Years Experience Working with Senior Leaders
• 5+ Years Experience Managing Large Functional Initiatives
• PMP or similar certifications preferred
• Intermediate experience with change management methodology using impact, stakeholder analysis as well as communication plan development and execution
• Familiarity of different RASCI and decision-making models with teams
• Communication Plan development and execution experience
• Familiarity of different operating models
• Technical project management experience including working in an Agile environment
