The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefit laws and regulations
  • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees
  • Handles employee relations
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices and federal, state and local employment laws/regulations including leave administration, ADA, accommodations and investigations, such as harassment.
  • Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
  • May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related preferred
  • 3 years of experience in Human Resources
  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations
  • Knowledge in DayForce
