Position Summary::The LE Training Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling to provide basic, in-service, and career development training for the Piedmont Correctional Institute (PCI) Consortium group and Rowan and Cabarrus County Community Corrections. The consortium consists of PCI, Davidson Correctional Center, and Forsyth Correctional Center. This position is a permanent part-time position, and the coordinator can work up to 25 hours per week.
Experience with scheduling and coordinating In-Service training and
related documentation management.

1. Determines department service offerings, which includes monitoring service offering profits, determining college needs, and performing related duties.
Duty and Responsibility::2. Monitors and participates in day-to-day marketing activities and services; ensuring service offerings meet specified needs and requirements; evaluating services and instructors; monitoring a budget; coordinating contract services; selecting instructors; developing program offerings and training; conducting training; and performing related duties.
Duty and Responsibility::3. Prepares, reviews, interprets, and analyzes a variety of information, applications, records, financial information, business correspondence, and reports; makes decisions based on findings.
Duty and Responsibility::4. Manages grant activities, which includes monitoring current grants, identifying grant opportunities, writing grant applications, and administering grant funding.
Duty and Responsibility::5. May supervise lower level employees, contract employees and/or student workers to include: prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring workers are trained; ensuring that workers follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment; and making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations.
