Volt is immediately hiring for Industrial Maintenance Technician in Solon, OH.

As a Industrial Maintenance Technician you will:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment according to established schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with production equipment, including PLC and ACD systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production disruptions.
• Install and commission new equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with production operators and other departments to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

This is a full time, temp to hire opportunity.

The ideal Industrial Maintenance Technician candidate will have:

• Symbol identification/wire identification. Ability to read prints, color code (Red, White Black)
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of PLC and ACD systems, with certifications preferred (e.g., PLC programming certification).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work Night shift hours (7pm-7am) on a continuous schedule and resp to emergency calls as needed. .
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.

Pay Rate: $35.75/Hr
