Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of genetics, neuroscience and anesthesia. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Sleep Medicine.
Responsibilities may include performing comprehensive evaluations and management of pediatric/adult patients with sleep disorders. Selected candidates will conduct sleep research studies in the areas of Sleep, Anesthesia, and Neuroscience.
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop an individual training experience in research skills and teaching while developing a career in an academic setting and an opportunity to take the lead in developing a new program in Sleep, Anesthesia, and Neuroscience.
