The Division of Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring (IONM) in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a board-certified neurologist to join the Department as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Clinician Educator Line.

The major criterion for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

The successful applicant should have an M.D., D.O. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board eligible/certified in Neurology; and have completed fellowship training or post residency training in IONM and/or clinical neurophysiology. We are particularly interested in candidates who have general clinical neurophysiology or one of the subspecialty areas, such as EMG, EEG or evoked potentials and are board certified in clinical neurophysiology.

Responsibilities include performing IONM and clinical neurophysiology at Stanford Health Care, Lucille Packard Children's Hospital and affiliated hospitals. Secondary clinical responsibilities will include outpatient clinic in the candidate's area of expertise. Teaching responsibilities include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The candidate is also expected to participate in the IONM Division's scholarly and clinical research activities.

California Pay Transparency Information:

The expected base pay range for this position are:

Clinical Assistant Professor: $235,000 - $253,000

Clinical Associate Professor: $265,000 - $283,000

This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine's faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
