The hourly rate for this position at Scotts/Hawthorne will generally fall between $25.80 - 33.55 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

We are looking for an Inventory Foreman to join our Scotts Miracle-Gro Growing Media team in Orrville, OH!

What you'll do in this role:

• Lead the inventory management of packaging and raw materials.
  
• Utilize SAP to monitor inventory levels vs production schedule.
  
• Utilize SAP for production order entry and goods receipts.
  
• Perform routine inspections of packaging and raw materials.
  
• Execute physical counts for monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
  
• Be the plant champion on WCCO (World Class Culture & Operations) initiatives for Culture and Workplace Organization.
  
• Support plant Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  
• Foster a team environment and work with vendors to drive superior performance.
  
• Set and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
  
• Operate equipment, as needed, to maintain warehouse organization.
  
• Provide backup support for the Production Foreman and Quality lead.
  
• Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
  

What you'll need to be successful:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
  
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is strongly preferred.
  
• Strong leadership skills and a highly effective communicator with great time management.
  
• Computer skills including, but not limited to, Google Suite and Microsoft Office..
  
• The ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and/or hours within a seasonal business, including some Saturdays during our busy season.
  
• Strong administrative and planning skills.
  
• SAP experience is preferred.
