Invoicing Customer Service Representative

Graymont is seeking an Invoicing Customer Service Representative (CSR) based in Richmond, SLC, West Bend, Boucherville, or any state or province where Graymont operates. Reporting to the Pricing and Invoicing Manager, the Invoicing Customer Service Representative (CSR) will play a key role by working independently to manage freight payables, resolving invoice disputes, and maintaining customer master data. This position ensures invoicing accuracy and timely processing, serving as a champion for the invoicing process for both customers and carrier.

What You'll Do

• Review payable freight and process extra freight charges (payable and billable).
• Dispute incorrect invoices directly with carrier suppliers.
• Create standard vouchers as needed.
• Ensure the integrity of the invoicing system to ensure invoices are accurately processed in a timely manner.
• Responsible for new customer master set-up, including base price, price adjustments, order templates, freight, fuel surcharge, tax rates, and billing information.
• Maintain existing customer master information by making changes provided by Account Managers and/or customer or requesting the changes be made.
• Generate reports related to sales performance.
• Work with internal cross-functional departments (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Customer Service Representatives, Account managers) to ensure customer questions and problems related to invoicing are resolved.

Who You Are

• Education: Diploma of Collegial Studies or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Required Certification: Accounting or related business certification preferred.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years progressively responsible experience in customer service, accounting or a related field.
• Beneficial Knowledge & Experience: Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is considered an asset, ERP experience preferred.
• Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is required, while bilingual proficiency in French (or other languages) is considered an asset but not mandatory.
