Together, you'll help our customers get the high-quality gear they need to make the most of their adventures. We are BUILT FOR THE WILD™.

The Junior Brand Designer will join YETI's Brand Design team, comprised of graphic designers and illustrators, who are responsible for the visual impact of the brand. The ideal candidate will have a curiosity to learn and grow, developing a firm grasp on the YETI brand, while producing premium creative artwork. You will learn the YETI brand guidelines while continuously challenging and improving upon our core visual style, applying that effort to everything produced, from seasonal apparel collections to more community-based pursuits or event-focused offerings. You will also have the opportunity to assist with catalog design, campaign assets, and packaging as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Create artwork that aligns with YETI's core pursuits and seasonal offerings, developing collections from concept to production; create artwork primarily for apparel as well as other products and platforms across the YETI portfolio
  • Create versatile apparel collections that reinforce and strengthen YETI's brand, generate consumer demand, and respond to the growing range of interests of YETI consumers
  • Create vendor-friendly tech packs and production files
  • Respond to and innovate on consumer needs by staying aware of trends, colors and related products in this space
  • Produce, maintain and update creative presentations, sketches, native files, specifications, mood boards, color directions as required
  • Aim to be an aspirational beacon for the Brand Design team in creating best-in-class creative work
  • Focus team efforts to ensure efficiency, prioritize projects, align resources and measure results

Qualifications and Attributes:

A successful candidate will possess experience in design and illustration and/or image-making; a curiosity of trends and production of apparel and swag; and an appetite to join and learn from a talented, high-performing team.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, relevant field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in apparel visual design or apparel production
  • Proficiency and refinement in all stages of presentation, from concept to final design review

  • Able to receive critical feedback and action on it
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized with good project management skills. Able to juggle multiple, and sometimes, conflicting priorities and needs
  • Self-driven individual able to work in a fast moving, ever-changing cross-functional team environment
  • Proactive in nature and driven to act with a sense of urgency; able to work well under pressure and with demanding deadlines
  • Optimistic, energetic and naturally brings the fun to the office
