Summary:

Location: Raleigh, NC or Dallas, TX

We are seeking a Lead, Maintenance and Reliability Systems to be part of the corporate Operational Excellence team and work cross-functionally with Division personnel, corporate functions, and external vendors. The position will be a subject matter expert on the JDE maintenance module and help develop and optimize maintenance processes, systems, and related solutions. This includes leading decision analysis, enhancing processes and systems, and advancing automation and efficiency. The Lead, Maintenance and Reliability Systems will work to seamlessly integrate the Company's maintenance related systems with operations, procurement, and finance and develop KPIs to monitor progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify key gaps/pain points/opportunities in maintenance processes and systems, and lead projects to drive continuous improvement
  • Work with teams to define project charters, develop timelines / plans, monitor budget(s), lead risk identification / management and orchestrate project communications / change management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process and system enhancements, specifically as they relate to data capture, automation, efficiency and user experience
  • Ensure process integrity, test system changes, establish controls, define reports and analyze data flows. Use understanding of system design, interdependencies and data flow to resolve problems and troubleshoot issues
  • Assist with JDE master data integrity including Fixed Assets, Equipment, Bills of Material, Preventative Maintenance, Job Plans and proper mapping, configuration and completion of data
  • Develop, implement and monitor KPIs to understand performance and improve compliance with processes, procedures and standards
  • Develop analyses and presentations that inform and influence key decisions
  • Deliver end user training to improve companywide knowledge, standards and best practices
  • Perform all activities in accordance with the Company's Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company's policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct

Skills and qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in STEM, manufacturing, finance or other relevant technical field (required), MBA or master's degree (preferred), 7+ years' experience (aggregates or related industry)
  • Functional knowledge of the design and implementation of effective maintenance systems (CMMS and/or ERP) and how they are configured to improve asset performance, reliability and availability
  • Excellent project management, organizational, analytical skills and solid understanding of process improvement fundamentals
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work on, influence and energize cross-functional, multi-cultural teams
  • Highly skilled in core MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time
