SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for maintaining inventory in inventory tracking system, performing usage analysis, keeping parts room clean and orderly, dispensing parts and tools to maintenance personnel as needed, identifying and monitoring parts flow by parts numbers, releasing purchase requisitions to plant maintenance manager or purchasing supervisor for approval, receiving all maintenance parts, signing vendor tickets, filling out receiving reports for accounts payable, delivering parts to maintenance personnel for particular job, stocking inventory in parts room and printing documentation on inventory replenishment; other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 1+ years of similar work experience preferred but
    not required.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required; must be proficient in
    Word, Excel, and Outlook. Prior experience in SAP is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.
  • Special Skills: Knowledge of parts and tools used in a plant; ability to prioritize work.
  • Supervisory: NA
  • Travel: NA
