Volt is immediately hiring for a Plastic Injection Molding Operator in Van Nuys, CA.

As a Plastic Injection Molding Operator you will:

• Performs sets up and operates
• Must have good communication skills. Able to use standard hand tools.
• Able to lift 25 pounds.
• Uses hand and machine burring tools to burr, finish, or rework parts as required.
• Accountable for cleaning the machine before completing the shift and/or prior to moving on to another machine.
• Able to perform machining operations with a specified degree of accuracy and within a timely manner
• Understanding injection molding mechanics and mold function
• Forklift sit-down experience

This is a full time 1st Shift Opportunity

Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Pay Rate: $23-25/hr

The ideal candidate will have:

• Looking for 5 years minimum experience in a plastic injection molding facility and injection mold machines.
• Comfortable driving a forklift in tight spaces.
• Willingness to learn, be trained and ask questions.
• Must be a team player and able to write, read and speak English proficiently to follow simple written directions and document set-up.
• Bilingual in Spanish
