Location: Rustburg, VA
Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Machine Shop Manager
Job Title: Machine Shop Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse/parts environment.
  
• Previous experience with MRP software.
  
• 3-5 years of experience programming, troubleshooting, and supervising CNC machines.
  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure CNC machines are utilized and operating at optimal efficiency.
  
• Mark off nests in EPM.
  
• Verify programs against drawings.
  
• Ensure the quality of parts being cut and shipped.
  
• Manage the logistics of inbound and outbound detail transfers.
  
• Manage the detail cutting schedule.
  
• Ensure safety operations and practices at all times.
  
• Coach, mentor, develop, and train team members.
  
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in various indoor conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, dust, and noisy conditions.
  
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  
• Must be able to carry up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching forward, balancing, feeling, object handling, simple and firm hand grasping, and operating controls are required.
  
• Regular sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching overhead, stooping, and crouching are required.
  
• Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
