Location: San Clemente, CA
Salary: $33.00 USD Hourly - $37.00 USD Hourly
Description:
We are working with a food manufacturer in southern Orange County, CA searching for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of machinery and equipment within their facility. Your primary duties will involve conducting regular inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems promptly to minimize production interruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment conditions.
• Collaborate with other team members to address maintenance-related challenges.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in mechanical maintenance is a plus.
• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
