Shift: 2nd Shift
Hours: 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM (Monday - Friday)
Department: Maintenance
Summary
Repairs, troubleshoots, and maintains production equipment and machinery in a timely and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.
Responsible for completing assigned preventative maintenance orders on all production equipment and machinery.
Diagnoses, repairs, and/or replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Responsible for routine maintenance on Injection Molding equipment as directed.
Responsible for completing assigned work orders from the Production department as needed.
Contributes to maintaining a safe and clean working environment at all times.
Qualifications/ Education and/or Experience/Skills
Associate's degree in Mechanical Science from a two-year college or technical school; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced mechanical skills in an industrial environment required.
Intermediate knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read blue prints and schematics.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively to managers or employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word Processing software and Microsoft Access Database software.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
This job requires up to 25% local travel and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
