Job Description
Position Overview
The Manager will support Invenergy's Third-Party NERC Support Services program. In this role, the Manager will be responsible for ensuring third party operating projects remain prepared to demonstrate compliance through internal controls, enhanced workflow processes, and performance metrics. Based out of our downtown Chicago office, the Manager will use their engineering and cyber security acumen, regulatory compliance administration, and relationship management expertise to fulfil the job responsibilities with limited managerial oversight and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Independently analyze and articulate NERC performance (693 and CIP)
- Evaluate performance trends in relation to the governing service contract and corporate posture
- Lead onboarding compliance readiness efforts and periodic reporting for new projects
- Provide regulatory and technical assistance to Asset Owners
- Develop/maintain internal controls and KPIs reflecting program performance and customer satisfaction
- Build Out and Maintain Customer Relationship Portal
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of a demonstrated working knowledge/application aptitude of the NERC Framework/Rules
- 3+ years of relationship management and customer service experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, KPI software, and Nuance Power PDF
- Willingness to travel between 10 - 20%.
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Skills
- Degree in electrical engineering, power systems, cyber security or related discipline with an engineering/power system focus and/or equivalent industry experience
- Excellent conflict resolution skills and ability to foster lasting customer relationships
- Ability to use independent judgement to identify and to solve complex problems
- Ability to timely comprehend and navigate complex business contracts
- Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Advanced organizational, presentation/facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient use of a customer relationship management system (CRM) tool
- 3+ years of direct cyber security, SCADA, and/or networking experience
- 3+ years of renewable generation, power systems design, and substation maintenance experience
Base Pay125,000.00 - 160,000.00 USD Annual Bonus: 25% - 40%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
