Salary: $23.00 USD Hourly - $25.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant in Seattle, Washington!

Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Location: Seattle, Washington

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Rate: $18.00 - $20.00/hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Rooming: Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs, updating medical records, and ensuring the exam room is ready.
• In-basket Management: Handle patient messages, prescription refills, and other communications through the EPIC system.
• Prior Authorizations: Process prior authorizations for medications and procedures, ensuring timely approval.
• Immunizations: Administer vaccines and maintain accurate immunization records.
• Referrals: Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and follow up on referral status.

Must-Have Qualifications/Experience:

• EPIC Proficiency: Adept at using the EPIC electronic health record system.
• WA MA-C Certification: Must hold a current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (WA MA-C) credential.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
