SUMMARY

The Mid-Level Acquisition Analyst supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Washington DC. Requires project management professional skills to support Federal acquisition tasks. Expertise in the designated field and possesses the necessary abilities and background to fulfill acquisition and data management needs and assigned duties outlined in the Statement of Work. This full-time position will beonsite in Washington, D.C. for 2-3 days a week.

Must be able to obtain and maintain aCBP Public Trust Clearance.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to obtain and maintain aCBP Public Trust Clearance.

Bachelor's degree as a minimum in business, management, computer science, acquisition, procurement, contracting or a related field, and at least five (5) years of experience (as a mid-level acquisition professional) supporting major Federal of DoD acquisition efforts including planning, and executing acquisition, contracting and business projects.

Experience using acquisition tools to include but not limited to: Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), System for Award Management (SAM), GSA e-Library, GSA Advantage, GSA eBuy, and Small Business Administration (SBA) Dynamic Business Search, is preferred but not required.

Experience planning, implementing, or managing business strategies, processes, or models, is preferred but not required.

Experience using SAP, is preferred but not required.

Experience with Power BI, is preferred but not required.

Ability to support multiple projects and work under pressure with tight deadlines in a teamwork environment.

Proficient using MS Office (Excel, Project, Power-Point, Word etc.).

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following.Other duties may be assigned.

Develops acquisition, contracting, and business requirements. Drafting cost estimates. Prepares, analyzes, and tracks acquisition documents including the Statement of Work, Statement of Objectives, Market Research, Independent Government Cost Estimate, Source Selection Documents, Request for Proposal, Request for Information, Acquisition Plans, Source Selection Documents, Evaluation Criteria, and additional pre-award and post-award contract documents.

Prepares point papers and executive level PowerPoint briefings. Has an analytical mindset with problem-solving skills. Excellent communication both orally (in common English narration) and in writing and collaboration skills.

Develops or uses software tools to collect, track, analyze, and report contract data, requirements, deliverables, or business operations data.

Manages data, including data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.), and familiarity with established information system technologies and databases.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree as a minimum in business, management, computer science, acquisition, procurement, contracting or a related field, and at least five (5) years of experience (as a mid-level acquisition professional) supporting major Federal of DoD acquisition efforts including planning, and executing acquisition, contracting and business projects.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $120K to $140K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
