Apply now for the position of a MIV & Transportation Operational Specialist and you will provide day to day operational support with our MIV and High-Speed Logistics partners for Advanced Therapies (AT), X-Ray (XP) and Molecular (MI) Imaging systems.

Your role:

  • You manage the day-to-day operational topics with the Mechanical Installation Vendors (MIV) and Freight
  • Forwarders (FF) specifically for Advanced Therapies (AT), X-Ray (XP) and Molecular (MI) imaging systems.
  • You support the field team (Project Managers and Installation Service Engineers) to resolve real-time issues that potentially arise from MIVs during the installation and drive preventative actions for systemic issues.
  • You manage Out of Scope topics ranging from aging request, disputes and make final determination based on contractual requirements.
  • You support Siemens tooling assets inventory system including MIV annual tooling reviews, justification, and procurement of new system tooling and/or replacement tooling.
  • You coordinate with CSML for calibrated tooling requirements.
  • You partner with EHS & Recycling Centers on topics related to existing centers or process.
  • You participate in annual quality audits, process audits at vendor sites.
  • You support MIV IT tool access and troubleshooting including GAMA setup, PACE, Webshop OOS and PowerApps.
  • You travel to sites and vendors for on-site observations on the install process and process audits at vendors (minimum 25% travel requirement).
Your expertise:

  • BS degree in technical field or 8-10 years of experience in the medical imaging industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of the installation process (system rigging, mechanical installation and calibration).
  • Knowledge of Siemens Diagnostic imaging equipment (XP, AT, SPECT & PET).
  • Lean or six sigma certification is preferred.
  • Extensive experience working with matrixed teams, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to influence without authority and collaborate across all levels of an organization internal and externally.
  • Proven effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Consistent track record of innovative thinking and process improvements.
he pay range for this position is $110,450 - $142,930 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is 10% of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
